This engagement will be managed in accordance with the College's Procurement Policy and Procedures.Scope of Work and Services RequiredThe successful contractor will:Deliver high-quality and engaging individual or small group dance tuition to students from Years 1-12.Develop students' technical skills, performance quality, confidence, and artistry across relevant dance styles and levels.Support students in preparing for performances, examinations, competitions, showcases, and College events.Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and goal-focused development strategies.Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that reflects the College's commitment to excellence.Contribute to the ongoing growth, innovation, and performance culture of the St Peters Performing Arts Program.DurationCommencing October 2026Term-time deliveryUp to 25 hours of tuition per weekContract duration to be confirmed following evaluationLocationOn-site at St Peters Lutheran College, SpringfieldContractor Profile Qualifications and ExperienceTertiary qualifications in Dance, Dance Education, Performing Arts, or a related discipline.Demonstrated experience teaching dance to students across a range of ages and abilities, with a particular focus on Years 1-12.Experience teaching one or more dance styles such as contemporary, jazz, ballet, musical theatre, hip hop, or commercial dance.Strong pedagogical knowledge, including technical development, safe dance practice, and age-appropriate choreography.Experience preparing students for performances, examinations, auditions, competitions, or eisteddfods.Ability to inspire students and foster confidence, creativity, discipline, and a growth-minded approach to learning.About YouYou are an enthusiastic and motivational dance educator who brings energy, expertise, and a genuine passion for teaching and performance.
